When digital mirrors are subtly warped, giving "curated connections"; authentic interactions become a luxury or a "segmented offering". Premium tiers incoming for masses😅

I can easily imagine a time when being “served” by a human will be the height of status… kinda like the old days

Humans don't default to truth. We default to what we want to be true.

I'm surprised it needed a study to prove this as there are decades worth of this... It's the same psychological motivator behind scams.

I suspect most people will continue to proceed by American assumptions: their poverty is their fault, they just need to work harder.

Call me an optimist, but maybe this will be the alarm needed to force people out of the uber-imaginative digital lives they've become so fond of living in via social media platforms.
